Arithmetic Mean

The arithmetic mean of a set of numbers is the sum of all the given numbers of the set divided by the number of items in the set.

Example :

Arithmetic mean of 2, 3, 7, 8 and 10 is 6

2+3+7+8+10 = 30.

If we divide 30 by 5, we get arithmetic mean =6
